Resources are now available to help Comal ISD students prepare and practice for PSATs this fall.
Sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT on Oct. 14. Resources include:
Eighth and ninth graders will take the PSAT 8/9 on Nov. 4. Resources include:
- What is covered in the test
- How the test is scored
- No official study guide or practice test for PSAT 8/9
Test Day Procedures
The school district will proctor tests at participating middle and high school campuses. Remote Learning students will participate in these tests at their home campuses.
Students who come to campus for the tests must submit and pass a health screener on the day of the test. Comal ISD’s health and safety guidelines will be enforced, including wearing a face mask at all times.
On Campus Instruction students will report to school at the regular official start time the day of the test. Remote Learners will have communication sent from the campus with test day details and times.
Remote Learner students must present their student ID. They do not need to bring any unnecessary items (smartwatches, backpacks, or books). Remote Learner students will provide their own transportation to and from school as well as leave their campus immediately after completing the test.
