Five Comal ISD Students Participate in Virtual Boys State

Smart Business

Many of the vocational classes offered today at high schools are not your typical electives. Comal ISD's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, like the Business, Marketing and Finance program at Smithson Valley and other high schools, are part of a multi-faceted, modern curriculum that provides students with the technical knowledge and real-world skills they need to get started in a current or emerging profession.

Smithson Valley High School Receives 2020 College Success Award

One Comal ISD high school has earned the College Success Award for the second year in a row. Smithson Valley High School has been recognized for successfully going above and beyond simply graduating students but also helping them enroll in college and succeed once they get there.

Veterans Honored by Students and Staff

It has become a tradition that students, teachers and the community look forward to every year - Veterans Day. Normally, celebrations occur on every Comal ISD campus, and while this year's celebrations were altered a bit, they still brought the community together to remember those who fought for our freedom.
